We have been called to heal wounds,
to unite what has fallen apart,
and to bring home those who have lost their way.

St. Christopher’s Inn, a ministry of the Franciscan Friars of the Atonement, is a temporary homeless shelter dedicated to the rehabilitation of men in crisis whom we call “Brothers Christopher.”

Our mission is to offer a continuum of quality health care services that facilitate physical, emotional, and spiritual healing by providing Chemical Dependency Treatment, Primary Health Care, and temporary housing.

We strive to restore the personal dignity of each individual by utilizing a holistic approach in all our programs. No one is ever turned away because of race, religion, or the ability to pay.

The Inn is also home to St. Anthony’s Clinic, an OASAS licensed substance abuse program.  The clinic provides a Day Rehabilitation Program, a Clinical Module Program and an Evening Outpatient Clinic.  Our Primary Health Care Services are provided in our Article 28 Clinic, which is licensed by the NYS Department of Health.

St. Christopher’s Inn prides itself by simply providing the very best of care. In addition to providing food and shelter at no cost, the Inn offers an exceptional chemical dependency treatment program, which includes outstanding supportive services such as acupuncture, yoga, art therapy and vocational assistance as well as a family and GED program.

Our motto at St. Christopher’s Inn is “Where Hope and Compassion Meet” and everyday, within every program or service we provide, our community dedicates itself to bringing these words to life.
