"That Nothing be Lost" Thrift & Antique Shop

The "That Nothing Be Lost" Thrift Shop began in June of 1995 in an old auditorium on the grounds of Graymoor. It was a simple one-day tag sale. Within a year's time, the Thrift Shop had its own quarters in the neglected fieldstone building across from St. Christopher's Inn. Today, the Thrift Shop proudly reflects the loving care it has been given since its birth. The shop offers a variety of choices - from collectibles to necessities - antiques to art selections - everyday items to seasonal bric-a-brac. It is a shopper's paradise. All merchandise offered at the shop is derived from tax deductible donations and all revenues are used to support St. Christopher's Inn and its residents.

While proceeds help support St. Christopher’s Inn and its residents, the real story is that the Thrift Shop provides vocational experience for the residents. Whether it is restoring scratched pieces of donated furniture, researching the value of donated items or providing assistance to our customers, the Thrift Shop provides an opportunity for the men to develop their skills, to interact with the public and to build their self-esteem and value.

Shop hours are Wednesday through Sundays 10-5. For more information call 845-424-3182.
